The Legend of Wormhole- the phenomenon of time dilation

The plants on Ezfer have grown pretty quickly. So quickly, in fact, that we do not need to use our funky electronic gadgets anymore to witness this transformation occurring in real time. All we have to do, is to look through to Wormhole. There will be able to see the plants growing right before our eyes. They will inch up higher and higher. We will be noticing it in real time, just as we notice the movement of animals on Earth, or the flow of weather systems across the sky. Stay here a little bit longer, and you will be far ahead of your time. You will be, essentially, an individual who is experiencing time travel.

The legend of Wormhole- A new world- the other side of "Wormhole

The "other side" of Wormhole! - take a peek- across the Wormhole!
It is a lake; a lake that is can be considered approximately as large as the meditteranean sea. It is called the sea because of how enormous it is. This is the sea of Tranquility, which is also known as- by- many other names. These include the Mezmerizing Sea, the Tranquil Sea, the Silver Sea... and so the names for "the seas" go. Although for now, however, it'll be called The Sea of Paradise". The Sea of Paradise is akin to that of an enormous basin; also, it is uniformly flat on the bottom more or less. It is known for it's peculiar geography, with a depth of only about seventeen feet! There is another feature, just as peculiar, which this "sea" is known for- it has to do with how warm it is. And although, it does not take the sunlight too long to heat up the surface, it is not too much of a problem for much of the inhabitants, which live just beside the seashore. This lake is situated on a plateau, which for the most part, is extremely flat. Unlike other plateaus, the Moramian Plateau is situated at an extremely low elevation, and sits between major mountain ranges to the north and to the south, bringing ferocious winds down onto the lake. The Moramian Plateau experiences exceptionally long, bright days and long, dark, nights as well. These are respectively known by the locals, as "seasons." The night does not get too cold, because of the massive amount of heat being captured and stored overnight, from the day before. The lake stays about the same temperature throughout the whole entire year, at approximately one hundred, and twenty nine degrees Fahrenheit. Also, another interesting fact regarding the Moramian Plateau is that is situated on a planet, on which the laws of physics is "different" than they are here on Earth. Well, not the laws of physics in particular. Instead, it is the conditions on the planet that are different. And, in fact, it is these conditions that make it seem as though there are a new set of, different laws of physics! There is still another interesting fact about this planet... it is dubbed, creatively, as "Wormhole". No body knows where the name came from- did it come from humans here on Earth? Or did it originate from the inhabitants? Well, that is anyone's guess. As unbelievable as it may sound, the Moramian Plateau is actually quite humid, despite the fact that is is surrounded by both sides by mountains! And to add to that, the area is a rainforest. The temperatures here average anywhere from roughly 100 degrees, to roughly one hundred and twenty five or so degrees Fahrenheit. This has helped to support the kinds of plant life that is literally, and most certainly, be considered considered otherworldly.  Yet, what is it exactly that makes for such a warm environment, and such a "balmy" lake? The secret is hidden away- both underground- and in the atmosphere itself. First of all, the lake is widely known for the fact that it is filled with an intricate system of hydrothermal vents. The reason that the atmosphere itself is so warm is influenced partially by what's creatively known as an incredibly hot "marine climate".  And what is it exactly, that makes this climate so hot, other than the fact that there is hydrothermal activity underground? Well, another factor that has also "come to play, is that the atmosphere itself is primarily made up, of the gasses Methane, as well as Carbon gasses. The Carbon, first of all, is part of an ongoing mystery. Researchers from the "University of Wormhole" have always come up with "crazy" hypotheses, and assumptions as well. There is only one hypothesis that is generally accepted among meteorological members. That the Carbon on Wormhole is trapped- and as a result, it is steadily "piling up", because of the way in which the atmosphere behaves. Now, we have a greenhouse. The reason for why the Moramian Plateau is not as dry as one is used to on Earth, is because, unlike Earth, there is a very high amount of air pressure keeping moisture from evaporating from plant life. Otherwise, it would be a wasteland, much like what one might find on a place similar to Earth. Comparing the climate of the Moramian Plateau to that of the Amazonian rainforest, for instance, is similar to comparing the climate of the Amazonian rainforest, to that of a temperate rainforest on the Northwest west coast of North America. And there are many exotic forms of plants here on the Moravian Plateau. And many of these plants would, unfortunately, be illegal to import onto Earth for study. Unless, of course, these are same types of plants depicted inside the Voynich Manuscript.
Well, whatever the truth, these plants, or at least many of them- still remain illegal, for another, yet suspicious, reason.  So is this the reason why us, tas humans, want to believe in extraterrestrial life?
Anyhow, the inhabitants of the Moramian Plateauw havemov a  been using these plants just as some of the native tribes of Earth have used them for trances. And this is why the ones known as the Irazùms, have had such great imaginations. Imaginations that have allowed them to envision their mighty reality. A reality in which there is a lake... one that measures about four square miles, and on which an island rests within an island- the smaller of which is surrounded by a river. And during this trance of theirs, this is just a single vision... described by a single individual...
And this person in particular has peered- through the Wormhole! One who has also envisioned tiny billowing puffs of clouds moving across the lake. Some of these clouds would advance very slowly like snails, only a few feet above sea level; while others would advance much quicker, up to several meters above sea level. And the Irazùms were on the other side of the Wormhole; and they were tiny but numerous. And they were "part of nature", to survive the elements; and there could be seen a "static party" of nature dancing across surface this lake; and all of othis could be observed when looking...
Through The Wormhole; from a chair; from the planet Earth.
I have been observing... through the Wormhole. And what did I find?
Well, I found the land of Ezfer! Was it really another land, or was it just another story? I was one of the Irazùms. Even if albeit- for just a moment of time.  And whoever wants to look through Wormhole too, might just be the next author...                                                                         .

How the Irazùms speak. The mystery behind Mr Kendrick.

This is the Legend of The Irazumium Language!
These people have a keen sense of audio. They play back songs in reverse. And this is how they have learned to give sounds new meaning. For, after all, this is how the Irazùms will learn from now on.
I, myself, will generate the music. It will be composed of songs by musical performers! Such as- Adele!, Weekend! Jennifer Lopez! Pit-bull! Nicki Minaj! Sorry, but I had to throw that one in there! played backwards. That is the moment when, WAlla! A new language is revealed. Yes mister Flingstring, I know that Kendrick Lamar can theoretically speak backwards in Arabic as he raps in English. And that's for another story that is coming up. It will be approaching from the future, and arriving somewhere in the present. Eventually it'll all end up lost to the immense abyss known as of the past. There were still many a secrets (mysteries) I did not know yet, such as the fact that some rappers can speak "in Turkmenistan". And I do not know if Mister Kendrick is an exception to that. I'm pretty sure there are some rappers out there that are mysterious that way, but hey. We're not going to know about it for a while. =why? Because they ain't gonna tell us! The Legends of Wormhole

There was once this land, a land of Wormhole. It was another dimension to space and time. In this otherworldly realm existed a mind boggling assortment of fairy tale worlds. First we begin with its inhabitants, which are technologically advanced despite their incredibly small size of only a couple or so inches, or centimeters, in some instances. They like to take advantage of plants, (trees in particular.) They use their own methods to cut down these trees. They then craft their own, mushroom-like homes from the resulting tree stumps. Perhaps the more intriguing area of Wormhole is known as Ezfer. So, what makes Ezfer such a special place? This is an island within an island; It is surrounded by a river, which flows out to sea, which, by human standards, could just really be considered a lake due to its relatively small size. This "sea" is actually still pretty large for a lake, although it is made up of only freshwater. It measures about four miles long by about four miles wide. The strange aspect of this lake is that it has a uniform depth to it, of seven inches, more or less!
Wormhole is also know for its weather patterns. In fact, it's weather, as opposed to weather here on Earth, is INCREDIBLY small. So small in fact, that its practically microscopic. Tiny clouds roughly the size of balloons, some much smaller, float through the land. They move about as if being propelled by an unseen force. One that acts upon them in many different ways. Some clouds race across the sea as if they were part of some kind of time lapse, while, at the same time, other clouds move about literally as slow as a SNAIL. During times of storminess, these are known to create friction between other clouds of various velocities... These clouds may appear above the ground; anywhere from a few feet- to several inches! From time to time, large masses can create tiny electrical discharges in the dead of night, which illuminate the entire landscapes on which the action happens. This is a world in which people have not yet developed the ability to fly over the atmosphere and above the cloud tops. Although the people that live here are a little bit smaller than humans here one Earth, there is not much to fear once one asks, "will they be safe when we arrive?"... because these inhabitants, have a population that is far more populous than ours. They will work together to defend themselves against foreign intruders, no matter if they be big or small. And one day something dawned upon me. How would such a world look like, if it is being illuminated by light, from a thousand lightning strikes? And yet, if we ever step foot upon their land, we will not need to ponder this for a long time. We will not need to be much too frightened by this ______ Because, besides the occasional luminescence caused by the atmosphere, there will always be a population... A population that has harnessed the power of electricity, the power of light. And these individuals are not inferior to us. They call themselves the Irazùms, and they have "harnessed" the powers of nature. The same natural powers that lend themselves to being inhospitable, are the same ones that made the Irazùm conquer the elements. They have never been afraid of much; they push themselves to the limit. As long as the challenges that they face do not involve dying, it's all worth it for them. They become hardier, more acclimatized... not just to any kinds of conditions. Cold and heat are just a couple of things they expose themselves too. Although they take advantage of cold spells, as well as heat waves, they even often go towards where harm may be inflicted upon them. Going with a lack of water, holding their breath for as long as possible are also examples of their preparedness for change. A change which can challenge how we survive. Electricity. Still another thing which they prepare themselves against. Not by using protection, but by experiencing it themselves, intentionally. They do it over and over again, gradually becoming immune to these challenges. This has allowed the Irazùms to become effectively desensitized. They are more safe than us. Unlike us, they can go out; and they can enjoy life more fully. Going out in the rain is no longer a challenge. And neither is the fear of being struck by lightning. For this population of people has now evolved, to take on almost anything. Unlike us, they can go out storm chasing; and they will still be safe. They can even go out and travel, to places far out of our element. For the Irazùm, it's just a walk in the park, what for us... may be a walk to the wasteland. The Irazùm are not afraid of other planets out there, because they have what it takes to survive. They may even have what it takes to thrive. And they won't even need space suits often times. And they can cut down on supplies. Then they can really focus on, how to get more quickly, across the void of space and time. And they are trying to learn how to travel... across the other wormholes. And the one question they will have for us, is whether we have done what it takes- to be prepared. So...
What WILL WE do to survive other worlds?... Would we survive...  The Irazùms!? More on...

The imagination is life, and life is the imagination

Was the cup half full, or half empty. Well, one thing's certain. The cup was full of crashing waves. It was about to spill. Before it did so, though, the hot cup of liquid would start to evaporate. Then it produced snow. I had wondered what all of this exactly meant. There was a mysterious source of energy emanating from nearby. The liquid spilled onto a piece of blank canvas. The canvas then looked as if imagination had spilled on it. The spilled fluid had revealed a mysterious scene. Something had told me to go to this abandoned building in which I am. Perhaps this blank canvas had attracted me to practice here. I didn't think much of the canvas at first, until this "paint" from the cup colored it. I couldn't help but think what the canvas would look like if the cup was really filled to the brim before it spilled. I had a sense that the scene in the canvas was literally becoming three dimensional. That's when I heard a deafening sound. I looked out the window and saw a new world, a new dimension. I decided to keep the canvas.
Months had past after I started exploring this new realm. Many people were strangers. I met a wise man, who looked like a wizard. I had asked him, "how do I get back to reality?" and he replied, "come this way".  For some inexplicable reason, though, as we wandered here and there, I had a feeling of nostalgia. The question is, from where was this nostalgia "emanating from"? I had never, to my knowledge, been here before. At the last moment, we reached our destination. The wise man then told me something perplexing. "This is the final frontier." I had no idea what he had in mind. "There is a secret as to how to pass through these gates." I took out the canvas that I had packed in a backpack. The man looked amazed. The canvas painting looked quite a lot like what it had before, except it had changed nonetheless. It now represented the area from which I had came upon entering this world. Then I remembered what the painting looked like while I was still in the abandoned building. At that time, it had depicted the same exact place in which we now stand, looking at the portal. I asked the man, "Why are you so amazed?" and he replied, "This painting looks quite familiar to a place which I have been. But why on Earth, is this so, if I don't even remember ever seeing such a place?". Then there was a long pause, as the man tried to collect all of his wisdom. He couldn't come up with a reasonable answer. That's when I heard an unexplained voice that seemed to be emanating from all directions. "You cannot explain these events. You're imagination is great, and it can become like waves in a storm. However, when this happens, your imagination can change, and sometimes it can spill, like paint from a cup, onto a blank canvas, of another dimension. Your imagination is now spilling onto the second world." Which world, this one, or the one I just came from?" In the last times before I entered the portal, words may just about fail to describe in what ways these times were surreal. The closer I got to the portal, the exponentially stranger this realm became. First of all, the man's face behind the voice came into vision- this was my dead grandfather! " The wise man says, "This is Min. Before he died, he took an afterlife pill. It had apparently worked for his soul. I don't know if this be an unfortunate thing, or the other way around. However, it seems like he has forgotten that he himself has died. I have heard unusual legends from Min about a dimension in which lies the fabled world of Earth. It is said that everyone who reaches an exceptionally low energy level on that world forgets that he or she is alive. Therefore, these kinds of individuals are never heard from again in that dimension." Just before I entered the portal, which I assumed would take me back to reality, I noticed many other portals in this world. In one of the portals I could see something quite mysterious. It was a man, about six feet tall, with a long white beard, black hair, and was speaking something inaudible.
I have arrived. I was back in reality, the world from which I had came from. I was at home. I then seen someone familiar. A man with a long white beard and black hair was standing at six feet tall. I then realized that this man was my dad. I had seen him in the portal!  He told me that I had literally vanished into thin air, according to my friends. I had described to him the abandoned building in which I was. He then started telling me that it was once owned by my grandfather Min. I had no idea about this, since Min had died before I was born, and I had no more knowledge about him.  He then told me something intriguing. He told me that Min had once had a dream when he was the same age as me, and it occurred in the same exact place in the abandoned building, where I was starting to draw. It also happens that his dream happened at the same time and date when I vanished. My dad explained to me that Min's dream never seemed to have much meaning to it, if any at all. Yet, for some unknown reason, Min passed down the dream. I had no idea about this dream in the past. The only difference between this dream and the world in which I had roamed, is that Min didn't dream about a wise man, and didn't have the surreal visions that I had experienced soon before entering the portal. My dad hinted at the theory that this dream might have been some kind of a premonition. He told me that after the dream, Min had reached out to a psychic for help. The psychic was a wise man, and when Min had asked the psychic what these events truly mean, the psychic had a difficult time. That's when Min started hearing a voice coming from all directions. Perhaps that is why Min decided to tell about his dream.

How's my blog?

I'm trying to find out how people like my blogs. Leave a comment. Are they too short, are they just right, anything I should improve upon, should I include more in the posts, etc. Perhaps most important of all, is the information helpful in any way? I surely hope none of it's a waste of time. I'm writing these blogs for two main reasons. 1) to inform people about things they are less likely to know about, by writing topics that are interesting and go well with what people want to read. And 2) As practice in writing.

Writing for inspiration

One of my greatest passions would definitely be for writing. And for that, reading would also be on the list. There's one thing I've found quite intriguing about writing. For some strange reason, it seems to me as though my most profound ideas come at night. Incidentally, this is also my favorite time to write. Could this have anything to do with the fact that my mind gets so creative at night? Free writing is perhaps the most creative thing you can possibly do. The stories that come up, most of which have never even been written down, may initially seem "empty". However, there is a similarity between storywriting and drawing. This has to do with what happens, in a way, after I come up with a story. I then realize, what I didn't before, is that the events in the story are connected in very intriguing ways. As I'm thinking of what to add to a story, my mind is subconsciously trying to think of ways to make the story more creative. And in a similar way, drawing is also a way of recording my creative thoughts, ones which I had no idea I was capable of. I tend to want to hold these such ideas to myself, because someone else could use them. However, I'm thinking about, that's for sure. If I do decide to write down these ideas, I'll most likely include all of them in a single story. You know what else I'm also great at? comedy. Of course, I may not even list these jokes on a blog. I may use them, however, in any pranks that I decide doing. One of my favorite pranks are phone pranks. Another one is to just stay in one place in a store, for example, and pretend to be a statue. It really makes surveillance look like an idiot I guess.

The invisible realm theory; a scientific take

This is actually a scientifically plausible theory. There lies an invisible realm in which phenomena is invisible due to multiple aspects. Some could include these explanations:  1) It's microscopic 2) It happens or moves too quickly & 3) It's invisible to certain light frequencies. Now, if multiple aspects such as the ones listed before are features of something, then that something can almost surely be invisible. Obviously, microscopes, high speed cameras, time lapse animations, & things of this nature help us see things in an entirely new perspective. At times, technology reveals a perspective that could be considered a "new world". Yet, we still don't know many things even with modern technology. There are definitely things out there that are just beyond the limit of technology. When we think of a microscope, telescope, thermal camera, or anything of that nature, we think of something that can give us a better view of the world, usually in a single "aspect". However, what if we could view something in multiple aspects?- if so, how many aspects would we be able to observe at once? Well, when you think about this enough, you may start to wonder, if there's a limit to our technology in this regards. Is it possible that there my reside a world which is totally invisible? Think back on the aspects I listed towards the beginning. It's quite possible that there could be something, or some pheonomena, which could have multiple such aspects to it. For example, let's start out by saying that there is a phenomena happening on Earth which is microscopic (We're assuming you know somehow it exists). So you decide to take out a microscope and you catch it in a closed container. Then you realize you can't observe it because it's constantly moving. So you take it to a lab. In order to observe the phenomena, they freeze it. Then the contents dissolve once they stop moving. You have another one though. So they put it beneath a microscope, & this time they leave it at room temperature. They hook up a slow motion camera to a microscope to observe it. The problem now, however is that the phenomena really IS invisible. Unfortunately, it no longer interacts with light. Specifically, it no longer interacts with frequencies that are under thermal frequencies. Now not even a slow motion microscope is useful; You may be wondering, maybe I should find a scientist with a thermal microscope? and this is where you hit a dead end. Why? Because it turns out that the phenomena is smaller than the wavelength of IR light. That goes to show that our technology still has a ways to go. If you know enough about physics, you may think you can solve this puzzle. One thing that might come to mind is to conduct the observation using a quantum thermometer. This would most likely be an issue. That's because the phenomena is always physically moving. So, how are you possibly going to get accurate temperature readings?
Yes, I think this is definitely mind boggling. Yet, I really would need to think this through if  it doesn't make sense to you. I'm afraid it may sound like nonsense to some, but really, in order to get the information down in a way that makes sense is quite challenging. You can figure it out if you treat it like a puzzle; know what pieces you need, & put them together.

Do not abandon the imagination. Read an inspiring fictional story.

A while back, I got to know a friend called Nick. We both live on a planet called Zenst. Zenst spins at a much faster pace than Earth. Thanks to this, we have storms that spin around more often than on Earth. Our sun, unlike Earth's, has a noticeably variable brightness. This makes it seem as though it's pulsating sometimes, even under a blue sky.
Zenst is a world full of self automated robots that help others do work for them. We also have automated cars, & the more wealthy people own hovercraft, hoverboards, & other such vehicles. In fact, we even have aircraft that change color according to how fast they travel. Computers have advanced as well. Some are even powered by the physics of water droplets, which I don't know that much about.
We have an extremely spread out population that's rather small. Thanks to this, Nick has an enormous property that encompasses many thousands of acres. He makes a living by harvesting crops on his land. Much of his property, however, he's left alone. This allows a vast forest to grow naturally for as long as one can remember. Over seventy five percent of this forest has gone unexplored by us, & perhaps anyone else neither. One day I decided to take a stroll by myself through these woods. Nick calls the forest after his friend, Mik. Mik once disappeared out into the world, never to be seen again. This has caused Nick & I to theorize that Mik literally vanished into thin air, as in, teleported. Another idea of ours is that Nick decided to make us think that he moved somewhere far, far away, & that he actually settled into the woods. This would be a radical change, as Mik may have serious difficulties living in the wild, as opposed to us, who need to use high end tech almost constantly to stay ahead of our game. In other words, we need to keep on track of everyone else, while Mike needs to stay on track with mother nature.
I myself am an outdoors kind of person. One day I decided to explore part of Nick's woods. The area I went to explore was a patch of woods which Nick has essentially made into a park. This included hiking trails. One of the trails leads toward a river, which I decided I would follow for as far as I could. I was at least four miles into my trek. Perhaps it was much further. I noticed something peculiar near the river. They were ruins. I was hesitant about telling any one. I still told Nick later that day. That's when Nick decided to tell me more about it. He told me what he knew from his grandfather, Gary.
Gary had always had a desire to be a park ranger. I asked Nick why Gary hadn't realized this career. He said he's talked with Gary quite a lot, but Gary would always avoid the subject. Anyway, Nick told me a story that Gary passed on to him. The story takes place about twenty years ago. That day would turn out to be quite peculiar for Gary. Gary had walked into a bar one evening, after having a long day. He was quite bummed out because, as it turns out, the way his day was going, it was quite boring. Yet, soon enough, his boredom would hit a roadblock. He overheard some young guys talking. He called them "crazy" guys, because they seemed to talk so loudly, just short of shouting. He couldn't tell if they were sober. "We were out in them woods, one night with a flashlight. After wakin' all night, we reached this spot where we witnessed some strange entities" one of them said. "We took some sticks to make a couple of torches, & charged the entities" he said again. Then the other said, "They were running away like a group of mountain monsters, if you know what I mean. When one of them ran into another, they'd give out a growl. All of a sudden they seemed to teleport right into the darkness, like they were traveling through a wormhole or somethin' ". A friend of the two asked, "Anything you wanna add?" One of them said, "Right before they vanished, they seemed to leave behind some stuff, like photos or somethin'. We charted our location on a map. My friend Gildan took it. After it was said and done, Gildan told me he lost the map somewhere as we were tryin' to get out. If he wants it back, he better go in there and find it. Cuz I ain't going back twenty something miles for a dumb map." After this, Gary thought they may have been scouting Nick's woods. Gary decided to see for himself whether the map could be hidden in Nick's woods somewhere. Eventually, he found what he was looking for. However, by this time, the map was not resting on the forest floor anymore. Instead, it was in the hands of a naturalist named Jerry. Jerry claimed to have found it while searching for truffles. Unsure about whether this was the real deal, Gary decided to try his luck and see if he could obtain the map. Jerry told him, "Sir, I've been trying to read this map for quite a while, much to my dismay. If someone else finds it useful, then be it." From then on, Garry embarked on a trek in order to reach the location that was supposedly somewhere on the map. Garry would venture out in Nick's woods, sketching along the way. This way he can, in a way, create a map of where he wanders.
Garry's quest has led him to find what was marked on the map. It was a set of images, describing plans on how to build a mechanism- one that Garry suspects no human has any idea of how to manufacture. So it begins...
Two months later
For quite some time, the space agency has been trying to reach a planet called "Fez". However, to enable space travel by fusion power, engineers still need to figure out the last step in order to realize this. Otherwise they'd risk a journey that would likely take well over 10 years. Well, engineers have received the images Garry discovered. It turns out, Garry discovered the next step the space agency needs to enable fusion fueled spacecraft- plans for a fusion powered spaceship. Now, this will allow astronauts to land on Fez possibly within a year. Based on obervations, Fez is green, & contains gasses such as Carbon & Oxygen, in abundant quantities!
1 year,  6 months later
On a world orbiting a tiny, yet exceptionally intense star, resides a society that hasn't even discovered electricity yet. Residents call this world Glikom. Rumors have spread at an exceptionally fast pace throughout neighborhoods. There have been sightings of "star people". The star people have reportedly arrived in a levitating object of some sort, one which not even the wisest of residents can describe, despite their best efforts. The residents of this planet, however, soon dismiss these sightings. They believe that star people, or aliens, as they're sometimes thought of, are terrestrial beings. In other words, they think that these beings are spirits. These spirits have manifested, and can only be visible to certain people. In order to be a witness to such phenomena, it is important that you are ready. Being ready consists of at least two things, or "states of mind" as one might think of them. 1) you need to believe that they exist (be open minded) & 2) You must be able to sense when they're trying to communicate by telepathy. If you cannot interpret mindfully that they're trying to make an appearance, or what they're trying to communicate, then this lowers your chance of being a witness. Glikom is a giant world, roughly twice Earth's size. It also has a much slower spin as Earth. Unlike Earth, which spins ever slower, Glikom is further into the slowing process.
2 years later
I'm in Nick's house. We've got a TV running, when all of sudden, we hear breaking news. Then we're reminded: we had astronauts travel to Fez! sure enough, that's what the breaking news is about- "astronauts arriving from their long journey from Fez". Later the announcement is made that the astronauts will be talking about their discoveries a week from now,
I made sure to mark my calendar to hear about what it was like for the astronauts roaming around Fez.
1 week later
I call Nick. He decides to meet me at my house to watch the astronauts on TV. This is the first time astronauts have gone to a habitable planet! As we're watching, the first astronaut sits at a table, with cameras flashing everywhere. "Fez was an astonishing place to explore, to say the least. It seemed quite surreal and something that one may think of if they really stretch the imagination. I don't think, I know, that all of us astronauts now have memories of a lifetime... on a world that's a lot like ours, lush, green, coffee-colored skies, & as vibrant as one can imagine." The astronaut goes on for thirty more minutes. Then it's the next person's turn. He goes. Right as he's going to talk, we hear my front door open. I rush out to see who it is. Then Nick rushes after me. As we look towards the door, I'm shocked for some reason. I truly can't explain why, it's like something tells me that this is unusual. What's more dramatic is the look on Nick's face as he's left utterly speechless. Garry has arrived. In the heat of the moment, however, the emotions quickly shift, and excitement overtakes us. We all rush to the TV. Yet, our emotions just now pale in comparison to what will soon be announced by an astronaut on TV. First though, we listen to some interesting discoveries regarding the weather on Fez; "We've noticed the days on Fez to be quite long, at least a few times longer than here on Zenst. The sun near Fez is astonishingly bright, and the clouds amazingly thick and dark. In fact, once the sun shows through the clouds, the temperature can jump by at least five degrees in five seconds. As a result, the planet may experience unusually strong wind gusts. In one instance, I was talking with some other astronauts who were about twenty five miles away from my location. My thermometer read 45 degrees, yet they radioed back to me saying that it was 80 degrees. This is local climate on a whole new level. We've noticed how the slow spin has enabled more heat buildup than one might see on Zenst. We've also confirmed Miller's predictions that the slow spin would allow for stronger, more long lived storms, with higher rainfall rates. One of the things that Miller (Miller was a scientist studying what climate may be like on other planets) didn't mention, yet we observed, were that plants died off at night. What takes about three months or so on Zinst, happens in a matter of four days on Fez. So, it was kind of, should I say, a time warp. Our perception of time was transformed. When we arrived, the leaves were green. On the fourth day, however, come late afternoon and they would already start changing color. On that day, the night was fairly cold and long. On the fifth day, it was even colder. That evening the leaves fell. Before morning came, it was a full blown winter. Then about six days later, the leaves started growing again, and morning literally brought new life to the land. At times the clouds resembled neatly shaped jagged hills." Another astronaut speaks. "Storms tried to form funnels. Ironically, the straight line winds often tore up the funnels. We had to seek shelter immediately." Next, the astronaut talks about some other intriguing things he noticed on Fez. "I sat up one night. I noticed what seemed like glowing orbs floating in mid air. They didn't seem to move. However, after several minutes I noticed they were not in the same location. I took a nap for an hour. I then got back to observing the orbs. I noticed them forming a dense clump, or cluster. They seemed to then literally vanish into thin air. I talked with some of my fellow astronauts about it the next day. We had discussed what was really happening. We came to the conclusion that instead of vanishing, the orbs were likely making their way to an underground cavern. One day, something truly amazing happened. A scientist who was part of our mission gathered one of these orbs and studied it inside a lab in our spaceship. This life form was made up of an extremely thin membrane, as well as extremely thin, delicate, organs. It's shape was kind of like a fish. We called it a Zonzi. It turns out that the air on Fez is incredibly thick. Zonzi's lungs can hold incredibly large quantities of air. They inhale a large volume of hot air while they're underground, near thermal activity. Then at nighttime, they float out of the cave, and float freely through the cold air, settling down generally in random places. Once they settle down somewhere, the wind might push them. If they don't find food, they die. It turns out that the ones I noticed were quite large- likely over 10 feet in diameter. I'd say they were approximately two miles away. Yet, when one was found by our scientist, it deflated. All that was left was what would be left of a balloon. Yet, the same night this happened, I had woken in the early morning and looked out my window to see tiny Zonzis coming towards the window. I had to close the window. After all, they could be poisonous, or be like box jellyfish. Perhaps even worse would be if they carried an unknown disease to which there was no antidote or cure for."
Right after this, a chief or someone of that nature takes place of the astronaut and starts speaking. His facial expression suggests he's about to declare something unthinkable. "I am here now, to make a special announcement. We have saved the best discovery for last. Ladies and gentleman, I announce to you, that while we were wandering about on this unknown planet, the most amazing discovery... (pause)...was not something of that world, but something of our world. That discovery has a name. It's name is... Mik. At that moment, we all felt like this was the end of a new chapter in our lives. And for the first time ever, we felt as if our life was a book. Then, I heard my door open again. We all looked at each other. We knew who it was. And this would, perhaps, be the end of the story. Yet, at the end, Garry made it all better. Because Garry, like the man we just heard from on the TV, had an announcement of his own- one that can be considered to be equally as important. We knew it had true meaning behind it, and for that, we remembered it for a lifetime. If this is to be a secret, we will hold on to it for dear life:
"Boys, if there's anything to remember from life, it's this. You can be a witness if you meet at least one requirement. You need to believe that they exist. Be open minded. There are legends of ghosts or aliens out there, and if you do not believe in these things, they will appear to you."
-----Thanks for reading. Stay open minded. I hope you've learned from this. If you think it exists, don't give up, and don't be swayed by other's beliefs. You're imagination, is NOT lying. If you seek explanations that aren't rational, don't abandon such explanations. Others will try to keep you permanently attached to rational thought, & disconnect you from the other world, a world that in part belongs to the imagination; your imagination is telling you something; LISTEN to it---------------------
